I love this pub almost as much as I love Sting. The staff are friendly and although the locals swear a bit, it doesn't make a difference, you only have to make a small effort before they take you into their hearts and once you're there, they are very loyal and would do anything for you. Don't listen to the earlier reviews, they were obviously written by people who have never visited the pub and they always chase away the travellers that cause trouble without any fuss.
Give it a chance before you judge - cheap beer is always a winner!
