The Marsham Arms, Chelmsford

Another pub gone for good and with it all its history. - Its criminal that yet another Tesco is allowed to bulldoze its way in, Chelmsford now has 4 Tesco's the Marsham Arms makes way for the 5th. Ridiculous.

Duke of Edinburgh, Shepherds Bush

This pub has just recently closed within the last month. Will upload a photo. Another London pub gone, and with that all its history. Lets hope that its re-opened again with some refurbishment that might keep it alive. But I suspect that it will be a Tesco Metro or something more hideous instead.

The Bay Horse, Chelmsford

Re-Opened.

Been a couple of times .Refurshed to a very high standard. If you expecting it to be anything close to the old Bay Horse then you will be very surprised. Its clearly now a gastro pub and less a drinking establishment (like it was well known for before) obviously a lot of money has been spent renovating and updating and it works well. Food was great too, there were 16 of us and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Staff were professional and friendly. Food was very reasonable priced (�15 for 2 courses) great selection of wines too. There is also a very nice outdoor decking area now too. The strangest thing about this pub is the Fruit Machine that is still there next to the bar area, which look and feels out of place!
