Just come in to have a reasonably priced drink served with a beaming smile. Nice old fashioned classic pub with a great range of foreign beers.

Thank God it is more expensive than a Spoons. Keeps the riff-raff out.

The Palm Tree, Mile End

Bloody Hell,
this all smacks of a conspiracy by ex-staff or barred customers. I'm pretty fussy about pubs, but I went in here on Tuesday with a friend, and found it to be an honest regular pub.
Maybe not a date pub, nor an eating pub, but if you want a pint and a packet of s&v, then it's pretty good.
A touch of character in the east end.
And no, I didn't ask for a glass of water, but if I did I would have expected one for free.

O'Neills, Clapham

Certainly better than other sites in Clapham. So I believe.
Food & drink are of a good standard. It's the best branded offer around.
Consistently solid service.
