Great news, the dreadful landlord has gone, the pub is now always warm and we villagers are thrilled! Peter and Jo, now in charge and trying really hard to make this a village local. Live music on some evenings, special meal deals regularly and always a friendly welcome. Usually a couple of ales available - a bit over-priced - but prepared to pay to once again have a reasonable local.

The Rose and Crown, Huish Episcopi
Brilliant pub, one of the very best. Completely unspoilt, great landlady, wonderfully friendly locals, etc - difficult to beat.

The Red Lion, Steeple Aston
Some excellent meal deals this winter and a range of well-kept Hooky means we'll be returning regularly. Friendly landlord and food pretty good.
