Red Lion, Cropredy

Have discovered this perfect traditional village pub fairly recently. It "ticks all the boxes" and is now the firm family favourite.

1. Great food, reasonably priced and served in good time by friendly staff.
2. A particularly well-kept pint of Guinness and a selection of hand-drawn ales that represent very good value.
3. Ancient honey-coloured local stone and thatch in a tranquil, picturesque village opposite ancient church and alongside canal.
4. Friendly locals, charming hosts.
Possibly Oxfordshire's best kept secret. Shhhhh........Don't tell anyone.
