The Martyrs Bay, Iona

Friendly atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Sound of Iona and the Ross of Mull. A good stop before or after the ferry, or in the evening. Nice selection of single malts, and good pub grub.

The Craignure Inn, Craignure

We stop at this pub each spring on our way to and from Iona. The hosts are wonderfully welcome, the patrons are a delight, and the bar stocks a good single malt selection. We've always eaten supper in the bar, and the food is excellent. There are three rooms upstairs. We've stayed in two of them, and found them both clean and comfortable. It's one of our homes away from home.
