The Old Mill House Inn, Polperro

Not sure how these guys do it, but they do it. Fantastic range of beers at prices that take me back to the eighties. And the food,!!....When I saw the prices I wasn't expecting much before our meals were served, and have to say I was certainly caught off guard when they were. Substantial sizes and clearly freshly cooked to order which is amazing considering the more than reasonable prices. Enjoyed all the establishments we got to visit this time round, but this one is a little gem once you find it.

The Noughts and Crosses, Polperro

Outstanding!! New Landlord & Lady have done a cracking job in a very short time since my last visit.
Bar area improved ten-fold along with the exterior decor, staff and overall atmosphere. Felt at home with the staff and locals after 5mins of chatting and laughed for England during our visit. We'd only popped in for a quick one before our usual 'Tour of Duty' but ended up staying all evening & night. All the food passing our table looked fantastic which made it tricky to choose for ourselves, and thank God their still making there own homemade soup.
If you go to Polperro without going to the Noughts, you haven't been to Polperro at all!
