The Angel in the Fields, Bond Street
Continuing my Angelic crawl this was the most enjoyable visited. Very pleasant barmaid, good mix of clientele. Cheap Sam Smiths prices? Pull the other one! Bottles are over £5, but of course Taddy Porter is worth it. Well worth visiting for the proper pub experience, only the Golden Eagle can compete in this area.

Next on the Angelic crawl this is a Sam Smiths pub so you what to expect drinkwise. Friendly service despite how busy the place was. Layout of the place beyond my comprehension, too busy to explore properly. Worth a visit.

The Craven Arms, Birmingham
Despite the last reviewer's comment I found the bar chap very welcoming. Good selection of real ales, the ones tried were excellent. After visiting the trendy Penny Blacks it was a pleasure to find this proper pub, exterior tiling is super. Best Birmingham pub visited today apart from the Post Office Vaults.
