The Slaters Arms, Bradley

I visited this pub last year and found the service and food excellent. So I took my daughter there for a pub lunch on her birthday yesterday (4th June)
There were only 5 or 6 other customers in and also because it was during the jubilee celebrations I was unsure if food was being served. When I asked about food, the bartender (whom my friends inform me is the owner) was quite rude, making a sarcastic remark about bringing our own food if we wished to eat and added that he wasn't respecting the jubilee either.
Maybe we caught him at a bad time but it was embarassing and I won't be going again, shame, because otherwise it is a nice pub.
