Heard from a friend that the richmond did amazing food, so I visited tto see for myself. Absolutely amazing. The specials change every week or so, and I have not been disappointed with anything I've eaten yet! There are three ales on regular rotation, my particular favourite being the Caledonian 80. There's also a small (but perfectly formed) whiskey selection including the Dalmore 12yr. A short walk from Clifton Village, I often attempt to go for one at the richmond on my way to town... but usually end up staying put as it's open til 1am on weekends! A must visit.

A gorgeous little pub in a hidden location - best known as a hidden gem only found out about through mates and word of mouth! Especialy enjoyed the boxing day bingo, held by Paul and Dee, which I hear is potentially on the return? Fingers crossed. Brilliant pints and equally as excellent service. Highly recommend this place! 10/10!

Hi Luke, I gained employment after I wrote the review. But I do agree with your first comment, it did sound a tad managerial - sadly, a habit I cannot get out of having had to write blurbs for so many pubs for so many years!
I'd like to say that the glowing review I left is what landed me the job, but I'd be telling porkies. However, now that I am on the management team at the Richmond, I'd like to say I am proud to work in such an awesome pub. I left the rating blank for this one, not my place to rate it as staff.
