Freud Bar, Covent Garden

I second to the cocktail heaven! Love the minimal decor. Coffee is decent, too. Whenever I've gone there, it has been super busy yet the staff have been in control. It's small, it's sweaty, it's cosy, it's a social experience when busy. I don't particularly like the area of Covent Garden so Freud is my must when there. It's not a secret or a hidden gem anymore, but who can blame - it would be stupid not to share a good thing.

The Reliance, Old Street

As someone mentioned before - it's good to have a pub in an area of trendy bars. Food not that amazing and there are better places around to eat, but serves its purpose when the cause of and solution to all life's problems - beer! - starts getting to your head a bit too much. And the beer was good. The interior would perhaps need a lick of paint, but then again it would take away part of the charm.

The Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, Hoxton

Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen is one of the cornerstones of Hoxton Square and I am glad it is there. Yes, the service is sometimes bad; yes, I could moan about a few not-that-good drinks, but when going out for a night in Shoreditch I always pop in for one. Don't know why. I just do. And I have always left happy.
