The Flute and Firkin, Liverpool

I love this pub! bit quiet in the summer when all the students bugger off home but its great for a cheap night out. Ope till 2 with Kenny the DJ (We love you kenny-can we be ur bitches?) the music is poppy but not too poppy with some good classics like bon jovi, bryan adams etc almost gauranted along with newer classics such as the killers, kaiser chiefs etc. Bar is cheap (�1.20 for a bottle of carlsberg). Fun friendly student atmosphere and no dress code!

Dovedale Towers, Liverpool

used to be fab but is now a trendy bar as oposed to a cheap scruffy pub. Barprices have gone up and you have to make an effort to get past the bouncers. boo!
