This pub has been under new management in the last 2 years and now offers a finely stocked bar, great menu and friendly, attentive staff. Well worth a bus journey over!

The White Lion, Penzance

This is a proper drinkers' pub with proper bar staff doing a proper job. There is a modest selection of well kept ales, all the standards in the way of lager, cider, etc and an amazingly well stocked selection of spirits. If you want a traditional pub with atmosphere come here. If you want a plastic pub with crappy beer and sport blaring from multiple screen: go elsewhere.
