Hare and Hounds, Shenstone

Great pub this, real fire in the winter, large bar/dining area.
Two nice snugs toward back. some real ales as well as most of the usual drinks.It has a large grassed garden area with seats, and a covered smoking area. I can recomend the food,its very good with a wide choice.Great for Sunday lunch.
The carpark is large and very easy to get in and out from.
The people who staff and run the pub are very nice.
In all ,a very nice friendly pub well worth a visit.

The Cross Keys Inn, Alcester

Been to this pub many times, but not for about two years now. It is as far as i know still in need of a complete refurbishment.,as it was then.I am also told it looks very rough inside as all the fixtures and fittings are well worn and shaby. Having not been for so long i cant comment about the beer, but it used to be very good. There is a good smoking area in the yard at back,which is part covered over. The toilets too are in the back of the yard and not inside the pub.
Alcester is a very nice little place with some very good pubs and walks nearby.
