The Glue Pot, Swindon

Great Beer but.......
Been a fairly regular visitor to this pub over the years and have experienced the highs and lows of the various landlords. The previous one (Keith?) was often a bit grumpy but at least you got served promptly and had pleasant staff on hand to cope with busy periods. However the present incumbent (JC?) Seems out of his depth. At first things definitely improved, prices dropped slightly, a generally better atmosphere reigned and the pub stated to get busy again. But recently, standards have dropped considerably, JC seems to be trying to run the bar single handedly and he simply can't cope. In this run up to Christmas, it really shouldn't be a surprise that a pub might get busy and that one person simply can't handle a busy pub. The result has been a very bad tempered and resentful (why?) JC. I've seen almost as many people walk out rather than endure a long wait to be served by a rude, swearing, bottle-crashing man. What's going on?
