The Cricketers, Broadwater

Wandered into the Cricketers this weekend and was really surprised, we have lived in Worthing for some years but never visited the pub, it was really friendly ( we were chatting to people at the bar as if we had known them for years and had only been there 10 minutes) The staff were spot on and the selection of real ales probably the best in Worthing, they even had a beer festival on to celebrate British Pub Week, didnt even know it was on, in fact none of the other pubs we go in had anything to mention this. We didnt get a chance to eat but will be back to give it a try, the menu looked good. An absloute gem of a proper English pub, complete with pub dog. If you havent been , give it a visit it willl be well worth it.
