The beer is good however the service and regulars leave something to be desired. Arrived at about half past eight and quite a few 'white van man' types spreading their enlightened opinions before swerving home. As has been said, the landlord is a bit of a churl. The Bell up the road has fewer inbreds but is Greene King, You pays your money, you takes your choice. Nearest reasonable boozer and grub probably Watton.

eddybeer, the 2 pubs in my village are the pits for the same reason. It only takes half a dozen knuckledraggers to turn a pub into a no-go area for anyone with sense. Problem is a lot of landlords are knuckledraggers themselves and more interested in surrounding themselves in like-minded drinking buddies than building a good business.
