The Old Goat, Fulwell

This may be getting old, but when this pub was the Fulwell Arms with Paul & co running it, the beer was good, reasonably priced, two pool tables, generally good company. Now I fall into the 18-25 age bracket, so my views may differ from others. This and the Red Lion, pre-refurb were both cracking boozers. The change in decor, price and clientele, has had a negative impact upon me. I've been in the goat for dinner a few times also for drinks aswell, and the people inside seem a bit up themselves, whereas the Fulwell would always be welcoming and you would always see a friendly face. Excuse my rant but I now have a 20 minute walk to my local, which isn't exactly local. I'm sure everybody in my age range will agree with this. Cheers. Joe
