i don't know, i kind of disagree with all this goose bashing. i sort of like the place. i like all pubs. there goes my credibility right out the window. damn i miss london.

The Cock, Oxford Circus

Listen up louts, why do you go to a pub? To drink beer. What makes beer taste even better? Less quid. Now that we've got that straight, this pub "The Cock" has 1.85 pints of Ayingerbrau (forget that it's Austrian--it's bloody lager). Enough said.

The Gloucester Arms, Marylebone

after hearing the gloucester would be taken over by that weird school adjacent to it, i became deeply sadened. i lived across from the gloucester for a spell, and it truly became home. the fish and chips was good, the tetley's was.... well, tetley's, and there's nowhere else in london i'd rather watch an aresenal match. damn good times. an example of how a simple pub can become a great place. we'll miss you.
