The Port n' Ale, Tipton

the new boss ackee has turned the pub round from ian who had a good start but blew it and alienated all the locals by s**ting on his doorstep & doing
f**k all for months
the pub was heading for oblivion the new gaffer works hard and if was allowed to run the place would do a good job he's hard working and starting to knock the staff into shape the music is back to mor & classics and the regulars are starting to come back it needs a lick of paint & the menu overhalling but lets not forget this pubs generous customers have raised 20000 in two charity events in 12 months .so please john give us a refit and some investment and you will have a thriving pub again

the pub is ok but needs some investment as it's looking tired as for tipton red's comments it's better than when he run it at least there's change in the till and the pub team is not being ripped off by him too has he's keen on facts perhaps he would like to remind us why the owner came and checked his floats every night before firing him
the music is good on a saturday playing a good mix the community needs to support local pubs because you never miss them till there gone and with a real lack of pubs in the area this one needs to survive because the customers make it a good atmosphere to drink in
