Now called The Tap House - great selection of ales and world beers - had Hardknott Continuum on draught - excellent. Good atmosphere.

Never drank in here but did notice that it was all GK ales plus a TT Landlord. However, did stay in the hotel and that was fine as was the breakfast.

The Vernon Arms, Sudbury
passed this pub a few times and as it was hot day and I needed lunch stopped - the ham sandwich was good, with ham being off-the-bone. No local ale unfortunately but the Ringwood 49er was acceptable...garden nice and set back from the road. Interior looks interesting (must try in winter). Out back is Sudbury Hal Nursery if you need a few plants.
