The Ship, Lambeth

I have recently been at the Ship, and pleased to see that they have a new young manager there, i am not sure of his name, he is scottish i think, or even could be irish.
Who i am glad to see seems to be taking an interest in running and working in the pub itself. When you step inside you can see that its a lot cleaner and better presented with new displays and more advertising which allows you to see whats actually happening in the place.
I would reccomend this pub to people as its great in my opinion, one side is full of locals, which is a good thing, the other side plenty of choice where to sit and chat with mates etc.
I can say i will definately be back again, i hope he is still there running it, as i liked him, he is very freindly.

The Duke of Kent, Ealing

I recently went to the Duke of Kent on Scotch Common, and i must say i was so impressed. It was a very busy evening. Me and my family went there for dinner and a few drinks. On my arrival there i felt so welcomed by the staff. The staff were so freindly and cheerful. The manager on shift, a young guy with dark hair, was cooperative and helpful in providing the right seating arrangemnt for me and my family, also the service was quite prompt and quick. The quality of the food we recieved was on the right times and of exceeding quality. I will definately be returning to this pub and would recomend it.
