Nice pub, very cosy and a welcome destination after a day on the SWCoastal Path. Ale and food good, reasonably friendly (although the barman was unexpectedly surly and sarcastic for such a nice place.) Worth the walk from St. Ives.

The Sloop Inn, St Ives
Perfect location and (thankfully) not renovated to present corporate standards. Flagstone floor is worn to tread of time. Good food and generous portions, young barstaff very relaxed and informal. Great view of harbour.
