The Gronant Inn, Gronant

Arrived at this pub hungry after a long walk - only to be told the kitchen was closed. The Landlady took pity on us and cooked us two fantastic meals. Generous portions at a very good price. A cosy village pub with a open fire, genuinely friendly locals and Marstons Ales. A wonderful hidden gem!

The Eagle, Amersham

The best Sunday Roast in Amersham by far. A bigger choice of Ales would have been nice, but it is compensated by two excellent ciders. Well worth a trip out of London. I'll be back!
