I am the assistant manager of the Bramingham and i have registered predominately to gather opinions on what makes a good pub and to gather any reviews and comments made about the Bramingham. I went to this pub when i was a student at bedford college, it was the most student friendly pub and at the time it was run by steve and alex. The music has always been a big attraction of this pub but the main selling point has got to be the clientel. Very rarely is there any trouble in the Hob and it has got to be the only pub on the high street that is not infested with chav scum. Although I do not believe the daytime trade is as good as it once was the Hobgoblin is still one of the best nightspots in town.

The Bear, Bedford
I started to drink in the bear in the summer of 2000 and not much has changed in that time apart from the addition of a games room. The regulars are still regular which speaks volumes for the pub itself. Although the bear is an alternitive pub it is a welcome alternitive to the usual barrage of drunken chavs with something to prove. The Bear also boasts one of the best and wide ranging selection of music on their Jukebox. This thing can play everything from Jamiroquai to Cradle of Filth, something for everyone
