Racks Wine Bar, Clifton

Bar staff generally friendly.

Drinks expensive - �3 for a pint of diet coke (on tap, not bottle). The same drink in a bar less than a mile away is �2.50.

Staff add lemon slice to drink without asking. Next time I asked for no lemon slice, but it was still added and had to ask for it to be removed. Staff also handle and add lemon with fingers - unhygienic.

That's not the main reason for this review - the problem is that I was there as part of a party and had to deal with the manager at the end of the evening, and despite trying to be friendly towards him, he was rude and his whole demeanour insulting. The evening was ruined by the way he acted.

Over all, as a result Racks gets a thumbs down.
