The Bugle Inn, Brighton

Started using this pub in the mid-70's, it was great then and still is, I have travelled all over since then and spent a lot of the time out of the country but whenever we are in the vicinity me and my friends always drop in. Always a great pint, great service and a great atmosphere. I think being hidden at the back of Lewes Road has done it some favours over the years, never a hint of trouble as it is just off the main stretch and far enough away from the seafront and main Brighton to keep it a locals pub.

The Blue Anchor, Hayes

Refurbished and new management as of two days ago, The pipes are clean, the pub is clean, the landlords are friendly and will endeavour to keep the troublemakers out of the pub and turn it back into a popular local. Worth a quick pint.

The John Harvey Tavern, Lewes

Obviously the best pint in town but the staff although polite are a bit young and not quite what you would expect for the flagship of Harveys Brewery. A quiet night unlike Mondays when the Jazz evening makes for a great night out.
