i hate this pub since the old manager left. things have changed around and i have heard its shutting down now.... thank heavens! hopefully a change of staff will change things for this place and just as it was starting to get better too! i dont know if fullers are selling it or refurbishing it but they should bring back the young guy that left in november as he had the right idea about how this bar should be run. lets hope things pick up after it opens so it rivals the grand union, the bear and the webbe ellis.

nice range of wine and good tasty food. always fills up for sport and weekends and staff are good. P.P.P.......pretty pleasant place!

not great....just tends to fill up with the staff and thier mates, if you are a normal customer off the street you may have to disturb them from thier chats on the sofas in order for them to serve you! and the young manager having a pint whilst working....is this normal???.......
