friendly, consistent staff and management, good doormen and on most nights either sports tv or a good selection of music. Leans toward the more modern drinking preferences but good prices for decent wines and premium lagers, not eaten there yet but the food and prices look tempting. Been goingg there for about three years now and travel about 6 miles to get there - worth the journey - it never lets us down!

Just about the most pleasantly presented toilet area (gents) I have seen - spacious and clean and with newspapers - if they had a bar in there too it would be perfect. Food standard varies in quality of finish but is generally good and bar prices very cometitive with a decent red wine for �8. Now all non smoking.
