There aren't many real pubs left these days, but this is one, a little jem, hidden away in the back streets of Reading.

Old Don Carlos Irish Tavern, Ciudad Quesada

It's clean and the service is good. The best part is to sit outside and watch the ladies walking along Quesada High Street in the sunshine. I miss English rea ale though.
