King George, Hale

This pub changed the tenants a couple of years ago and whilst the previous tenants were excellent, with the beer and food especially being brilliant, the present tenant is not a patch on the previous operators.

The licensee is about as miserable as you could get, the pubs filthy, the toilets are shocking and the food and service is terrible.

It�s my local pub and I use it occasionally out of convenience, but much prefer to walk into Hale and use The Railway.

The King George changes tenants every few years so fingers crossed the present incumbent will move on soon and someone will take it on who knows how to run a pub.
