The Raven, Bath

The Raven, we visit everytime we are in Bath, love the food pies are great now 3 veggie varieties very hard to find in most pubs.
The staff are usually friendly, with maybe one or two exceptions.
But beer is always good and varied,one of the better pubs in our opinion.

The Seven Stars, Helston

the seven stars has changed hands about 3 or 4 weeks ago, we went in with friends at about 7.30 one tue evening to be told that there were no specials on the board, and that they only had one burger in the fridge.
We had to settle for fish and chips at 6.99 that were not very exciting, would have done better at the chippie round the corner
Not a very impressive start..
PS they had also run out of draught beer.
