My word! This place is now as busy as it used to be back in the 70s if the evidence from my recent visit is anything to go by. Good bright atmosphere and staff who really seem to know what they're doing and never having to ask that dreaded question "Who's next?" even when under pressure. It makes the Rising Sun at the other end of the High Street look like a morgue.

Not really a pub as such. Very good beer from the microbrewery and a good stock of bottled ales from the same. Great to sample a couple of pints and get goods advice from the proprietors however.
