The Coach and Horses, Isleworth

Prepare to be dazzled when you step through the door. From the quaint and attractively old-fashioned shaped bar to the sumptuous dining room with its mirrors and candles the Coach & Horse oozes opulence and charm at every turn. Service is by the general manager Karens handpicked team which is friendly, honest & on the ball. If the weathers good, head out to the sizeable garden and the fish barbeque on a weekend. A world away from a hard core booze pit, this erstwhile coaching house has been reborn as a premier-league pub. The elegant, sinuous bar serves good real ales, various lagers and a super pint of Guinness It offers upscale bar snacks and nibbles, but its the Youngs extensive range of real ales that really set the drinkers pulse racing. Karen and her team definitely have a real and deep seated passion for serving the best food, cask ales and wines around in the area as we have experienced on more than a few occasion over the last months We had the same delicious menu and rinks served throughout the pub and garden terrace on sunny days. Karens menu only uses the freshest ingredients to which the chefs are producing mouth-watering dishes. The Coach and Horses also have a very cosy and romantic candle lit dining room & contemporary glass atrium. When it is very busy we sometimes settle down in the lounge bar or the snug as aptly named by the staff to enjoy a drink and friendly chat with the staff I have found that the wine list will tempt even the most discerning palate and it compliments all the food very well! Happily, the kitchen keeps up with thirsty and hungry customers like I, producing a cracking menu of starters (crispy pig ears) and a good selection of mouth-watering mains dishes. Desserts are still to die for and are fiendishly hard to ignore when visiting.
