Easily the best pub in Glossop. Excellent selection of beer (inc. bottled ales) with emphasis on local micro breweries, wide range of live music, traditional interior, great atmosphere, superb landlord and lady. If only there were more pubs like this one.

The Compasses Inn, Ketley
When I visited, the bar served a range of beers from the Archers Brewery only. All were well kept. Buffet Style Sunday Lunch was absolutely superb. One of the best I've had. If you live in the local area you can also take avantage of their sunday lunch home delivery service.
