Carniceria, Holmfirth

Curate's egg indeed. The restaurant area around the back was completely empty, but as visitors to Holmfirth, we decided to give it a try. The menu was eclectic and they're possibly trying to do too much. Nontehless, The pork chop sourced from a local butcher's was truely superb - well cooked, seasoned, moist and great vegetable acompanyments. The ginger cheese cake for desert was too rich for my liking, but a good flavour nontheless.
