The Furze Wren, Bexleyheath

Went in here today for the first time in a couple of years.
There is absolutely no atmosphere in this pub unlike Wetherspoons The Wrong Un' at the other end of the Broadway.
I cannot understand why The Wrong Un' is closing down soon and this place is staying open.
The beer selection was great and better than The Wrong Un' where I went afterwards but I still prefered The Wrong Un'.

The Railway, Tulse Hill

Popped in here while waiting for train.
I last used this pub in 1968 and it's gone from a traditional pub to a trendy type pub serving the modern keg type beers.
Staff were very friendly and it looks like a good place to have a night out.
I had a pint of Peckham Ale which was surprisingly good but it would be so much better if they served a decent draught ale.

The Tulse Hill Tavern, Tulse Hill

I remember going in here in 1961 and had my first pint of Guinness.
Went in recently and although a very friendly and welcoming pub there was no real ales, only a load of the modern keg type variety. OK if you like that sort of thing but I don't.
