A flying Wednesday night visit with a few work colleagues for a couple of pints.
I have been here before in June 2014 and no-one has reviewed since that visit of my mine.
I still like this pub, it was very busy with all seats inside and out on the benches taken. The punters were a mix of after work, pre theatre, groups and couples.
4 ales across the 5 hand pumps, I had 2 pints of the very good Truman's Rio Gold @ 4.2%. Unsure of the cost as I didn’t buy a drink while I was here, but it’s probably around the £4.00 mark per pint.
Decent pub that deserves more reviews on this site.

My 1st ever visit to this place was late afternoon on a Saturday a few weeks back.
Trendy with food being rather prominent, there are lots of eclectic tables & chairs so seating is not a problem. The bar staff are friendly and attentive.
3 ales on hand pumps, my choice of Cottage Brewing Wessex Red @ 4% was very good, so good I had a couple of pints. They also have a good American beer selection in the fridges, I’ll work my way through these on my next visit.
All in all this pub was a nice surprise for me as it wasn’t on my list for the day. Good location, busy with a steady crowd, friendly staff, reasonably priced for the area…so get yourself down here and have a few beers in the area I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I went to this pub in search of Cotswold Lager which the Cotswold brewery site suggested I would find here. The lager wasn't on, but I had a very nice, although pricey, pint of Cotswold Wheat Beer at �4.65.
This pub clearly goes for food customers. It was before 6pm, but most tables were either full or reserved and there is limited space to stand and just have a drink. Occupying the bar is discouraged and there really isn't anywhere else.
If you want to eat this might be somewhere to go, but despite having a good drinks selection it isn't really welcoming if you just want a drink and a chinwag with friends.

Had a beer or three last friday and found it surprisingly good, as I don't usually do Gastropubs. Mixture of clientel which seemed to work quite well. I will return, haven't tried the food yet. Found the staff welcoming and helpful.

Looked in here today � all tables set for diners; no stools at the bar; didn�t see any ale pumps, but one or two might have been hiding behind those obtrusive lager fonts. So, even more than a gastro-pub in my opinion � it�s a restaurant. The only thing pub-like about it is its name.

Popped in here on my way to somewhere else, pub full with people eating and that seemed the focus, i had a pint of Adnams which wasnt too bad. Its an attractive pub and the menu looked nice and not completely over priced. Not a place i would return to for a drink but perhaps for food.

I agree with the general consensus that this place is more gastro than one would like, but the staff were friendly and the groups of thirty somethings packing out the pub sharing bottles of wine were harmless enough.
Bombardier and Adnams were available along with a selection of draught products that were hard to pick out as the metal etched clips were hard to decipher in the dim light. My Guinness was well poured though, if maybe on the expensive side rocking in at �3.55 a pint.
I wouldn�t return to this pub on my own again, but as the previous post says, it is a good place to take a partner and I would probably pop in if passing with the wife.

This establishment is very definitely on the gastro side of things - it's had the stripped pine refurb and there are jars of olives and pistachios on the bar. Rather surprisingly it has a reasonable beer selection and I even had a pint of Harveys.
Really though this is somewhere to take your other half for lunch or dinner rather than proper drinking and it loses marks for that reason.

Nice pub full of typical well to do pimlico crowd, staff helpful.

does a nice pint - harveys on tap - and is not a bad pub for the area, but food very overpriced - �10 for a dodgy burger and weird-tasting chips, even though it said it was homemade. Dining room upstairs looks nice but the same menu so the same dodgy burger. Pork pie looked good though.

Havent been in since ultra smart updo - they had a sausage festival with beer though, last summer from the signs outside. The tidy couples destination in Pimlico.

Looked a bit more 'gastro' than pub from the outside, but managed to serve quite a reasonable pint of Harveys. Not too bad...

A welcome addition to Pimlico - always busy when I've visited. Food is pretty good (standard gastro pub stuff - lamb shanks etc) and decent value.

A joke... food is more expensive that Gordon Ramsays pubs and the drinks more expensive than the ritz... pretty much always empty, no surprise. Terrible.
