Excellent pub which was very busy on the Saturday night on which I called in. Good to see pubs in full swing with all ages enjoying themselves, instead of two sad old gits and a cat propping up the bar.

Visited on the night of the Halloween party. Although not dressed for the occassion, the staff and locals were friendly and a great range of beers on offer. I had Brains- Rev. James which was well kept.

This has the feel of a modern estate type pub from the outside, but it's much better than that. Good range of beers and a good quality too. Comfortable and a friendly chatty barmaid. The Cheese & Onion rolls were a little tasteless, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent real ale house, good value beer and snacks, and a wide range of Cider/Perry. if in Gorleston a must visit pub.

As Love_good_ale says this pub has a great range of beer and is apparently a sister pub to the Mariners in Great Yarmouth. Worth a trip if you're into your ale. It's quite a large estate type pub on appearance and seems to have a good base of drinkers.

A large traditional pub brought to our attention by being in the latest Woodfordes Ale Trail. On hand pump on Sundays visit was Canary, Lurcher, Orange Wheat (Green Jack) ,Nelsons Revenge, Sundew (Woodfordes), Fat Cat Honey, Dark Star Hophead and Davenports Englands Glory. I remember seeing that the Green Jack Lurcher was on offer for 1.50 a pint. The pub seems to be linked to the same named pub in Great Yarmouth. The pub seemed very busy on our Sunday afternoon visit. On this showing I am sure it will be in the GBG very soon.
