| As per the previous post this 'pub' (and I use the term loosely) is now called the 'Hawk'. It is basically a restaurant with letting rooms. The decor is very nice but you get the distinct impression that drinkers are not encouraged. Having said that the staff were friendly enough. The blonde barmaid/waitress was extremely helpful. The rest were a bit 'offish'. Didnt try the ale, settled for a pint of Amstel. I figured if no one else was drinking it there had to be a reason...... wolvesfan - 8 May 2014 18:44 |
| Now called the Hawk. Gutted, renovated and now looks like a Bistro. Beer very good though, heard good tales of the meals bit yet to try it. Very spacious interior but very hard surfaces all over which makes the noise level high. maybe - 25 Jul 2011 09:05 |
