A bit scruffy but still traditional pub, NO ALE, expensive boring lager, full to the brim with away fans on matchday. I will say it is friendly on a non-matchday with the regulars but otherwise needs improving I'm afraid. Richard_ReadingFC - 7 Feb 2012 11:44
Called in on a match day. Was busy but ok for away fans, looking very tired but you could do worse if you're paying a visit to The Emirates. Wouldn't rush back but efficientky run when very busy. thehonesttruth - 27 Oct 2011 22:16
Brilliant pub, great beer. ryan1582 - 5 Aug 2010 14:21
Pub for football fans, away fan friendly, crowded on match days ok but would nt go in there any other time, basic facilities catering for 300 fans! steviewonder - 16 Nov 2009 17:13
well what can i say, i've used the pub for many years and its changed alot, in recent years its got alot quiter but with the new homes being built all around it its got massive potential! the pub its self is an old stlye working mans pub, always has been but might not be for much longer as there is talk that it will be re-furbished some time soon. on match days it is both a home or away pub, it has a large beer garden which used to have amazing bbq's during the summer, the beer is of a good standered and is improving even more. the customers are 90% locals who after a while will welcome any one that comes in on a reguler bases, over all its not the best pub in the world but it does have caricture, some thing many of they new gastro pubs can never get, thats simply down to good people and staff. if you want a pint it does the job! zardra - 16 May 2009 11:45
