I must be missing something. Best pub in Putney.. not likely.
Walk past this one and head to the Jolly Gardeners about 2 mins down the road.

One of the best pubs in Putney, although perhaps a bit overpriced on the food side. Attracts nice looking people, which is a good plus, but does mean that a table outside on a summer evening can be difficult to find!

Got to be the best pub in Putney and my favourite south of the river.
The new staff are nice and friendly and come round with free snacks at tea-time. Gets very busy on sunny days but the staff do cope (just about).
Nice real ales and nice food.
Just left after spending the afternoon in a deck chair in the garden with a nice cold fizzy beer. Brilliant!

A good pub with good beer. Only down side is that you can't get simple food like a cheese sarnie, why would I want a rap with beans and guacamole?

Terrible service in here on Saturday. Typical scenario...staff serving whoever they see first and not who was next. Beer average and the pub is geared to food and the drinkers come a poor second. Awful.
