The Pitcher and Piano, Bank

Really useful place for a quick pee before getting on the tube.

The Green Man, Bank

Really scary stuff on the wall about The Green Man. I got frightened, ran off and got lost in Bank Tube Station.
Do Wetherspoons employ special people to drink in their bars? Every one i've visited has had the same looking people in it. 50 year old electricians with beards. Maybe there's some Union discount?

The Slug and Lettuce, Bank

The Slug and Lettuce. What does that even mean? Our food has bugs in it?? If you re-arrange the letters in Slug and Lettuce you can make the phrase "Ferrel Dog Lovin" which is appropriate I think? Quite handy place to order loads of drinks at 11 in the summer then sit on the benches outside until late.

Deacons, City Of London

I once saw a recruitment consultant trying to conduct an interview on one of the tables outside whilst there was football on. What a dick. Firstly, watch the footie. Secondly, don't try to impress people by taking them to Deacons. Loser.
The other time I was here (also while football was on)my mate spilt his pint on my trousers and I had to dry them with the hand dryer in the loos. People were generally very supportive of the fact i was loitering in the loos wearing only boxer shorts.
So in summary. Erm. Come here. Watch football. Bosh.

The Sea Horse, Mansion House

I came in here for lunch and gave my card to the barman to pay. 10 minutes later he comes back with the receipt for me to pay - I sign it and he gives me my card back. Only thing is, it's someone else's card. I've paid for dinner with someone else's Visa which kinda concerns me. Barman gives me back my card and acts like nothing's happened. I question whether he's going to refund the payment and get payment from me but he refuses. I then have to go round the bar and find who's just paid for my lunch and get them to sort it out with the barman. Outrageous.

Jamies Bar, Mansion House

Is this the one on the right down that little alley way? It just plain confused me - it was like being in someone's house and not a bar. There was zero atmosphere and it was too bright. Plus I tripped up and embarassed myself. Overall a bad experience - I prefer the one opposite it.

The Golden Fleece, Bank

Staff are okay. I've never experienced them to be overly friendly but you can't really blame them. They're working in a place where they have to serve drunken arrogant idiots most of the time which must wear them down. I've always found if you're nice and pleasant to them you get that in return.
