Proper community pub with pub decor. Thatchers cider is on sale most of the time. If that is off, there is still Old Rosie. TV screens could be distracting in the Public Bar.

Friendlist "real" pub in the area. Addlestones Cider and real beers. Two bars. Small, low ceiling. Attractive decor. Coal or wood fire some winter evenings.

Floor has now been replaced and the new tables are being made (these are crafstman made, not ordered off the shelf, so it takes a bit of time).
New floor has put the rating up. Tables, when they arrive, might put it up to 10.
Probably got to be over 21 to appreciate the pub. Not a jack-a-nory establishment.
