Under new ownership and been given at long last a real decent clean, still work in progress and Toilets next to be done but , clean , fresh interior - well worth a revisit

Still in the same semi -derelict state. Will it reopen, doubt it very much, expect houses to appear soon?

been using it on and off for 30 years, it's always struggled to be a place worth visiting which is a shame as it's the only pub for several miles with the demise of the Wheatsheaf, Colyers and Black Lion Southfleet

clean , reasonably priced and open , rarely get all three these days , lacking in atmosphere but it's food focussed mainly

Revisited several times, place given a complete makeover, inside now clean and wooden floors, garden been tided up completely.
Friendly welcome, well worth a visit now

Would agree with previous review, location, atmosphere , staff all spot on , beer choice very poor.

Well run and welcoming pub even during quiet afternoon visit, usual selection of drinks , clean and bright decor.

The Hayes Arms Hotel, Northiam
Rather dark and souless when visited on a Tuesday evening, focus here seems to be on weekend food. Not much available on draught beer or lager wise.

friendly welcome, have used the owners previous pub which was very well run , other reports indicate the same high standards here

food focused but that said have always been served promptly, politely and with a smile at the bar, beer festival a few years ago but nothing recently.

Haven't visited for a couple of years until recently, looks like in need of some investments, was greeted by a massive dog when entering the bar , also noticed that someone assume staff was having their haircut in the pub, not sure if this is a regular service!!!!

Seems to still be a food place serving beer rather than a pub but recent visit , service good and polite

Haven't eaten here but now a nice and bright bar area, service very attentive and good crowd of people , has a good village local feel without the cliques that sometimes come with such places.

The Golden Lion, Luddesdowne
Getting the praise it deserves after a lot of hard work inside and outside. Well worth a visit and just a short detour from the Tourist route through Cobham
