The Glamorgan, Croydon

Have to say I was very disappointed with this pub, having heard some good things about it. Visited on a Thursday evening, and had to walk past a very busy Porter & Sorter to get there. The place was empty! The barman looked a tad put out that we had disturbed him and he would actually have to work. We ordered drinks, and asked to see the menu, which we were given on a tatty looking piece of card. Nothing appealed so we left, very dissappointed, and won't be going back.

All Bar One, Croydon

I agree with the previous comments. I tried a London Pride and it tasted completely different to the Fullers pub round the corner. We tried something from the menu, and I can't say that helped. Steak Baguette was medium when i asked for rare, the merest suggestion of mustard, and a big pile of rocket leaves. Needless to say we won't be going back

The Barmy Arms, Twickenham

Went in on Sunday whilst down to watcn the rugby, fairly quick and efficient service with friendly staff. Nice location on the river and the outside bar was a bonus. Was packed though.

The Old Customs House, Portsmouth

Nice building altogher seemed to lack a bit in character and atmosphere to be a really nice pub. Staff didn't seem too interested either, which was a shame.

The Golden Galleon, Exceat

Had a meal here last night which sadly wasn't worth the 50 minute waiting time. At least this gave us time to clear the glasses from the tables as there weren't any staff around to do it. Very poor.

The Cricketers, Richmond

Nice pub right on top of the Green, very small inside, but who wants to sit inside anyway. Prices not too bad either.

The Bear, Twickenham

Probably the best place to go in Twickenham for a night out. Lots of cool people having a good time. One tip though, eat next door first in the Smollensky's, their food is better, but come here after.

The Hook, Line and Sinker, Twickenham

Lauren Moore you need to get out more!!!!!!!!! Maybe the staff in the Bear seem a little rushed but thats because its a busy pub. People actually go there! Have you tried the other beers, like frulli! Certainly beats a rank pint of pride and some out of tune musicians. Maybe you work here and want to promote it!!!

The Cricketers Arms, Leamington Spa

Considering we went in here on a Saturday night and there were only about 10 people in there sums it up really. A poor pub that doesn't really have any redeeming features.

The Willoughby, Leamington Spa

Nice enough bar for watching footie on the plasmas. You couldn't see anything on the big screen though. Bar staff were quick and friendly, and the all day breakfast was a good feed too.

The Counting House, Bank

Wow, walked in here and that was the first thing I said. A stunning building with friendly staff and well kept beer. Will definitely return.

The Jack Horner, Tottenham Court Road

Saw someone served a pint of pride so cloudy it looked like it was straight from the sewer, when he complained he was told there was nothing wrong with it. Decided this wasn't a place to enjoy a good beer so left without ordering

The Hook, Line and Sinker, Twickenham

Very friendly staff, quick service, quality beers and a nice safe atmosphere, can't ask for anything else
