The Royal Victoria and Bull, Dartford

Since the refurb it has improved greatly with an affordable menu and some of the original features and fixtures restored.

I spoke to the recently installed manager who told me that the intention is to attract the 25 - 40 year old crowd during the weekday evenings, which is great, but that Friday and Saturday evenings the pub will still cater for the kids sadly.

So if you don't want to feel old avoid it on Friday and Saturday nights, to to the Royal Oak instead!!

The Two Brewers, Dartford

Not been the same since dear old Bert left years ago, he was the pub!

The Windmill, Dartford

The Windmill isn't the smartest, trendiest or cheapest of pubs, it doesn't try to be, it's an honest local where almost everyone seems to know everyone else and their business!

I've been going there infrequently for the last 20+ years and have never had a problem and have always been made welcome. It's fun to watch the tanked up locals making fools of themselves on the karaoke, nobody cares it's that sort of easy going pub.

The Flying Boat, Dartford

Well done JDW! As someone who sits on the licensing committee locally I was intrigued and a little apprehensive when we granted the license for this place, particularly in relation to the meat market (Litten Tree) it replaced.

A nice pub to go and meet up with friends where you can sit and have a good chat without having to worry about chavs and little boys spoiling your evening. Being a smoker the beer garden is great, unlike most of the town centre pubs it's a fair size, although I do feel for the recently installed neighbours having to listen to the summer evening drinkers.

My friends love the fact that they can drink bitter for well under a couple of quid!

The Royal Oak, Dartford

Quality pub, go there frequently, Rob is a top bloke as are the guys who serve, no kids, no trouble, great smoking area, good beer, good for sport.

Top local.

The Railway Hotel, Dartford

A toilet to be honest, as mentioned before full of tracksuited baseball cap adorned chavs.

Much better pubs in Dartford, so if you're stuck at the station take a short stroll into the town centre.

Used to be alright.
