Have eaten here many times, food can be hit and miss, some of the fish dishes are worth trying.Staff are friendly, sometimes it takes a while to be served and drinks can be a bit over priced

Spent an evening here, very nice staff, good beer and food was great, try the pies!!!!! will visit again

Visited this pub while staying in york.The interior was beautiful, lots of atmosphere, good beer and excellent food served by very nice staff, however, on a return visit the following night, what a change, the staff were totally differnt in their attitude, it would appear that there was a whiskey tasting evening going on in the room where food is usually served.No interest shown to any other customers unless they were tasting whiskey, we even saw a couple of customers virtually bundled up a corner so that the chairs could be used in the dining room, very rude, what a differnce a day makes!!

Stayed here last week for a couple of days.Although it had an interesting history, i found it to be quite grubby, the bar maid was a bit ignorant, one night we were going out the back to the decking area for a cigerette when we were told that she was closing the back room as it was quiet(no access to the decking area unless you are prepared to walk down the back alley)Toast was burnt at breakfast and always something missing i.e butter, milk.We stayed in the shambles suite and saw and heard absolutely nothing.Dont think i would stay here again

Two Brewers, Smethwick Warley
This place has been a dump for as long as i can remember.I used to live near it years ago, it had a bad name then, always a fight at weekends, rough characters(men and women) i dont think it will be missed and there's always the queens head!!!( not)
