The Throckmorton Arms, Coughton

Excellent food, excellent value for money and very friendly staff, ate here on our first night away and stopped of for a lovely beer out the back on the following two nights. All in all terrific.

The Roebuck Inn, Alcester

Pretty unfriendly pub (staff wise) allthough the guy with the throat device was pretty decent. But the food...... We got recommended this by the guest house we were staying in, I can only assume he has spent the last 20 years eating prison food. Both of us spent a few hours in the bathroom after eating here, the steak with stilton sauce was terrible and should never be served to anyone again. Would not eat here ever ever again or for that matter drink there again.
