Pleasant enough staff and surroundings but beer far too cold, bit on the pricey side, �3.50 for a pint of Butcombe or Ashton Press and �1.80 for a packet of crisps. No that's not a typo it really is �1.80 for a normal size packet of crisps!

No beer, no atmosphere, what a waste of a once good pub. 1/10 just because the door was open

The Royal Oak, Clifton

Proper pub, watched the rugby here last two weekends - great atmosphere. Excellent pint of Doombar, three other real ales on tap and a few ciders. Very busy but good friendly service, didn't have to wait and got a smile from the staff every time!
